Also, I like {Distortion strike} over {Artful Dodge}, the +1 is very nice, it reoccurs, and usually you would just FB dodge the next turn anyway, so your saving mana by using distortion strike.
{Artful dodge} might be nice for some more unblockable recurssion. Also {peer through depths} is arcane and I don't know whether or not you want to splice with anything. One more thing I normally see {kiln fiend} in pyro storm variants so perhaps some other cards from there might be nice additions, say {manamorphose}. I built a fiend deck back when zendikar was standard and it was one of the funniest decks I've built. T3 or 4 when easy.

I agree but by adding say 1 or 2 artful dodges you can increase the chance of getting unblockable. Also I looked up some variants and think that {flame kin harbinger} and or {muddle the mixture} are good fetches for you fiend. However that would require a few dragon aughts to lose a spot.
