Post by: Kingbob on September 11, 2012, 08:42:17 AM
Restoration Angel + Fiend Hunter + Cathars' Crusade

Is this combo any good?

How is this happening?

I assume by playing cathars and then using restoration and fiend's exiling abilities over and over again.

So youd need 1 resto and two feind hunters plus one creature to pump?
Put out feind hunter, then another to exile the first then resto angel to bounce the second returning the first and so on?

In order for infinite loop you need

Fiend hunter in play, play another fiend hunter exiling first, then play resto angel creating loop to however many counters you want (if you have Cathars crusade in play)

You'd have to have a creature on the field already since the hunters and the resto angel would have their counters removed every time theyre bounced, right?

No, this requires either 2 fiends and resto or 3 fiends. Doesn't work with only fiend and resto, so the third creature would be either the third fiend or the resto. This could also be done with 2 fiends and cloud shift, which then would require a third creature. I really like that combo, it is game winning and all the cards fit together for a win even if you don't pull the combo

Quick! Everyone say the same thing!

In short, yes it's a great combo with the right setup.

Don't forget a {seraph sanctuary} or {healer of the pride} for unlimited life while you're at it. Hell, healer could be your creature gaining all those counters and working double duty for you.
