Title: World fire and mana pool
Post by: average_j03 on September 09, 2012, 11:58:34 PM
If I were to use my basic lands or add land to my mana pool before using worldfire in edh, would I be able to cast my commander using the mana saved in my mana pool still?

I am no commander expert but based on my knowledge I say yes, if you cast them both in the same main phase.

Sure, if you've got {8}{U}{U}{R}{R}{R} laying around.  ;)

I haven't noticed, but if'n I had a bucket o' mana, I would probably prefer {Sudden Disappearance} + {Worldfire}, or {Worldgorger Dragon}, then you can stay on color and have hasteys or lethal ETB red guys.

Just sayin'.  ;)
