I play with my buddies casually, and have only been playing for about 2 months now. I live green and blue but i wanna make a few decks but i really dont know what to focus on?
Like for example there are tons of combos like spirt decks(w/bl or w/g) and vampire and wolves i dunno where to start. I have a decent black deck but i wanna expand. Any tips on where i could find a chart of different combinations/deck themes?
Thanks you
I don't know about a chart but I say you own one already.
It's called. Your library of cards.
I always look at the cards I have and find themes among them. Then see which ones work well together. There is no right answer when playing casually of course. 😜.
I play a U/B {blood artist} deck that relies heavily on its effect plus a ton of kill spells, with zombies thrown in as backup. It's a fun deck to play. Delver is also fun, no matter what anyone says.
If you're starting off and you want a casual but competitive deck you should look into mono red burn goblins
Check out some modern decks here. It gives you an idea of what can be done with the current card pool.

I love {blood artist} I run him a {B}/{G} {birthing pod} deck and it is just an awesome casual deck. The point of a good deck is to find a theme and try to build around it and abuse it. My deck relies on creatures dying so I have good morbid cards like {tragic slip} and {morkut banshee}.....then other cards that benefit like {quest for the gravelord} and of course {blood artist}......then creatures like {gravecrawler} and {geralf's messanger} can come back from the GY to be abused more. Pick a theme and run with it 👍
There are some cards that are just junk by themselves but can be very useful in the right deck. Take {morkut banshee}....crap card that I would never run in any other deck......but being able to sac a 4 CMC creature to {birthing pod} instantly ensures the morbid takes effect and the banshee comes in and destroys another creature.

{blood artist} is such a fun card to build around. Many people underestimate it. Only things I lack are {gravecrawler} and {geralf's messenger} which no one seems too eager to trade away 😢😢😢
He's good in a token or pod deck too
