I'm heading to my first one at noon, second one at 6:00. Hoping for the best, if no good pulls at least it seems fun and free
Going to 1030 hopefully I can do the 1130 one at same place also then off to another store for theirs at 1pm if it wasn't my girlfriends birthday I'd head to the evening ones too at 6 and 7
My LGS does Yugioh tourneys on Saturdays and they figured that was more lucrative than putting it on hold for Magic Celebration Day 😢😢😢

Update while I'm at it. Mini masters went 4-0 won with {trading post} and {stuffy doll} plus a free random pack so 5. Now entered a free standard tourney!
I went 2-2 ugh. Did win a {Thragtusk} and a {Jace, Memory Adept} though.
Edit: I got a {Odric, Master Tactician} and a {Rancor} as well then bought a pack of Avacyn Restored and got {Griselbrand}
Lost first game myself, 1-2. However, pulling my 4th {Chandra, the firebrand} n the pack made me lol a little.

I won 3 of my 4 rounds, so two packs all together. My best pulls were a {Krenko} and a { Serra Avenger}. If I had won all of my rounds, I would have gotten 4 packs. Ah well, free stuff is cool.

There was a guy who got a foil {Door to Nothingness} and a regular one in a pack. He won that flight.
Mine was a bust the first store I went to said they didn't receive as much product as they thought and were only letting in new players so they can learn. Just the store being greedy I thought this was a day for all magic players to get free cards a thank you from wizards.
The store down the street was going to have theirs at 11:30 and I called the 3rd store who was going to have it at 1 and he said he didn't know he had to order free product so he didn't get any he thought they were just going to send it. So a lot of the veterans at the first store decided to draft and I joined in and didn't go to the 11:30.
I paid 10.80 to draft pulled a cavern of souls and won 2 extra packs going 2-1.
One store I went to didn't have enough packs for all the players there so they used one of their own boxes to fit everyone. Win or lose everyone got 3 packs. Then one I didn't go to but planned on apparently had presign ups at their fnm the night before

How did you lose in limited with Jace, Thragtusk and Rancor?
Thragtusk was last pack for last win, therefore not included as tournament was over and that was last reward. jace was for 3rd round(second win) pack and there for only one game in which I did not draw him.

Someone at my LGS next to me had, first match, both a liliana and a {Rhox faithmender}...neither of them were foil. A tad suspicious no? He claimed it was possible (it's not) and that he pulled them both legit from the 1 pack.
But how are you supposed to call a special needs kid a lying cheater? I just let it go. I feel like I should have talked to his opponent afterward, who was new to magic, to let her know what was going down, but I just let it go. No idea how to handle that one.
