I had a chance to play college ball but turned it down because I was concentrating on school. My mistake. I could play fullback better than most people in the nfl and I got the magic hands. π and btw, it's called a pigskin.

I had an opportunity to play college ball at Boston College at defensive end. That was also the same year Mathias Kiwanuka decided to play at the same school.
I promptly declined, because he was touted as an elite position played and I was only a fill-in incase he didn't agree. I was a high school Tight End, but they were willing to "accepted" me into the program, and start at D-end?
I wasn't offered a scholarship and had to pay my own way. What I understand is that thIs is pretty common for high school athletes. They "accept" you into the program with promises of being something more, take your money and cut you from the team. But having the story of "I almost made it" is enough.
goooooo cowboys !!!
The giants played bad. The cowboys played better.
And I was a centre in high school who was originally a running back. But we did have a good program. But I applied to a school that was letting me walk on. I shoulda played. I woulda been great. But oh well I'm happy where I am.

Giants dropped a lot of balls.
Cowboys were balanced on offense and Romo looked elite.

Elite? Really. We are gunna go that route. You just jinxed cowboys for the rest of the season. He looked elite because he was throwing against our 5th and 6th string corners. Come on man. Don't be that guy. Lol.
He did. Injuries happen to every team every year. Can't use that as an excuse. It's a poor excuse. They lost because the cowboys beat them in a convincing fashion. Over 100 on the ground, in the giants home, romo looking very good avoiding the giants "scary pass rush." The giants dropping balls and the cowboys played soft defense last 4 mins and gave the giants that last TD. Romo has statistically been one of the best QB In the nfl but crumples in close games. Maybe he's turning a page?
Not a cowboys fan but an avid NFL fan and the giants offense stunk it up and so did their defense.

I just noticed the "our comment"
You're a little bias because the giants played like turds.

Somewhat accurate.
Most colleges (see Alabama) offer 1 year scholarships. If you get cut, so does your scholarship.
Big Ten colleges like University of Michigan is trying to set the example by offering multiple years. Putting a larger emphasis on education is good in my book.

Barely making the playoffs and then getting hot when it mattered most. They aren't an elite team.

Can you point out where I said they were an elite team?
All I know is my Cowboys did what the Patriots couldn't do. The Giants are a great football team, taking nothing away from them. To be honest I was Surpised my team won lol
But yeah they get hot later which is why I'm glad they got beat now lol

This is an unfair statement. (new season, new slate)
This isn't the playoffs or superbowl. Circumstances play big in football. Giants happen to be a really good playoff team on the road which is a rarity.
Cowboys won in convincing fashion. Period.

Very true. T sizzle is out for most of season making ravens defense less daunting.
Finally the rest of the season is starting.
