I tried searching for my answer prior to posting. If I over looked it sorry.
Simple question. Is shroud a time stamp o a creature? If it's the last thing given, everything else prior still stays on, correct?
Yes
If you put shroud on a creature after it had be enchanted per say, the aura would stay.
It just protects it from being targeted imagine putting on a bullet proof vest after u already been shot did the bullets disappear nope they still in you
Well, objects on the stack would have illegal targets and would not resolve (they wouldnt work).
Say your opponent casts {Searing Spear}, targeting your {Centaur Courser}. You respond by casting {Sheltering Word} targeting the centaur. (hexproof is shroud but you can still target it.)
When your guile resolves, the spear will have an illegal target and will "fizzle" and basically be countered, saving your centaur.
But, like Poof said, if the spear has already done its damage to the centaur, it can't be undone by giving is hexproof.
What about { lightning greaves} and say a {pacifism} if the enchantment is on and you equip does the enchantment go because the target is now illegal
Right. Auras and equipment only target once, when the aura is cast or when the equip ability is activated.

Did I not say that in my post?

Right here
You did, but since the question was asked again I figured it needed a little more clarification as to why.
Alrighty! Just checkin
No worries!👍
I just realized this has never come up in my game play. Equipments fall off if pro artifact is given to an equiped creature right?
With that in mind you could stop an equip by responding to the equip target and cost being paid by giving the target pro artifacts right?

As already mentioned, protection would also work after its been equipped. However shroud or hexproof needs to happen in the timeframe you gave :)
