Post by: Richardalcala on September 04, 2012, 10:20:30 PM
Ok guys I check the ruling and couldn't find anything. Ok so if I tap {desolate lighthouse} and a u/r mana when I have no cards in hand could I draw a miracle than reveal and play the miracle or do I have to discard it cause lighthouse resolves first? Yes or no and thanks for the help.

You wouldn't be able to play it.

Look up faithless miracles.

From the thread

So the miracle would resolve after all of the looting effect would resolve (and it doesn't have to be Faithless, that's just what came to mind first, it could be Merfolk Looter for all I care).

So if you have no cards in hand and you use Desolate Lighthouse, you could not use the miracle because it would need to be discarded first, right?
