One thing I've noticed playing my own Jhoira deck is that she scares the crap out of people and draws all of the bad attention your way very quickly. I've started to take out some of my huge bombs in favor for more counterspells to protect Jhoira and effective blockers like {fog bank} to protect me while I wait for suspend to tick away.
Quote from: Gorzo on December 18, 2012, 10:40:04 AMwhat would you suggest?
True, but think of it this way. Not only do you need counterspells to stop the removal, but when you suspend something like Kozilek, everyone sees it coming. And when suspend is up, you are casting it, so others can counter it themselves - so you need to have counters ready to counter their counters. It's crazy.
Its just what seems to happen to Jhoira decks in my experience - the good news is that once you get through with just one or two successfull suspends, the game suddenly sways heavy in your favor. I've nicknamed my Jhoira deck "The Comeback Kid"
