I plan on buying an MTGO account soon, and will probably just do drafts and pauper (Cheaper and more casual then standard, and nothing ever rotates). I've been testing a bit of pauper on Cockatrice, and it seems fun. Are there enough pauper enthusiasts on here to get a forum started for it? The 'pauper' format doesn't work in the app deck builder sadly, just says that all but basic lands are illegal.

Yes it's possible I am aware :P main point was to ask if there were enough players of it to get it its own forum
I think that's a good idea. What I like about pauper is you can make numerous decks and it still be reasonably cheap.

Tough to say. I haven't heard much pauper talk. Then again, Casual is such a clusterf*** that I avoid it like the plague and Other is borderline comatose.

The problem is its really only an online format. It's real popular online because it's a way to play magic online and still save your money for paper magic, but places that hold paper magic pauper events are extremely rare/Non-Existant

All nonbasic lands are uncommon or rare? Never noticed that before. Or is that simply another pauper restriction?
Guitello is saying that the legality checker on iMtG is busted.
Yes, the only cards that it says actually are allowed are Basic lands. Everything else is Red and says that it is illegal for the format off pauper

I would love to see a standard pauper at my lgs. I think you might see some more variety in decks.

Any of you play it on cockatrice? Recently the pauper pauper players on there have been kinda dormant
