Cool story bro

Don't be a jerk.

I think he's gonna become a staple in other formats, yeah. Or really useful, like {Dark Confidant}.

When he gets vintage, say 2030, if people still play, I think he might be able to go to $150

Keep a playset of them. He's been rising I value since Innistrad stopped printing.

Yeah {Snapcaster Mage} has a {Dark Confidant} projection. The other thing is, he's blue. Blue staples are always worth more. Even a {Tarmogoyf} which is a stable card, is still only a green card. {Snapcaster} will be worth $40+ even within the next 3-5 years I believe.

It is just how he acts. He reminds me of another kubber. He just likes to act like a douche just to be one.

So, I see how good {Dark Confidant} is. Plenty of potential. Are there combos with him I'm not thinking of, or is he simply a powerful support card?

He's card advantage. That extra card every turn is well worth the 2 or 3 life. He's is a staple in Jund aggro.

Nah, it's just that it seems like people on here just talk for the sake of talking sometimes, and I know I'm guilty of it too; but I feel like the things I say are not as obvious as some of the crap that you guys come up with.

Of course {Snapcaster Mage} is going to be worth money. It's a good card that is useful in any blue deck with instants or sorceries.

Maybe I just have higher expectations for the dialogue on here than some.

Also, one final thing.... I tell people apart by their avatars and not user names. I really have no clue who you are. I'm not being a jerk because I hold a grudge against you, but because I don't think I have anything to gain by engaging you in conversation.

Well, you are in the general discussion section, so...

I can kinda see where KangaRod is coming from, there is a lot of pointless topics floating around, but that doesn't really justify being a jerk.  And this thread isn't one of those completely pointless ones.  And yeah, it is people having general discussion in the general discussion area, so its not like they shouldn't create the threads here or anything :P

Is "cool story bro" really that offensive? ???

I personally don't want to over-mod. I think that in many cases the community self-moderates to a degree.

You know how to steal a troll's power?  Ignore them. Or be polite to them.

I'd agree with Kanga, I think {Snapcaster Mage} is one of the most powerful cards printed in a modern frame.

While {Jace the Mind Sculptor} is essentially an infinite {Brainstorm}, he's incredibly good in the decks he's in (Stoneblade). {Snapcaster Mage} seems to make every single blue deck better, and decks that only splash blue for him (Zoo, Storm, Reanimator).

It's a toss up. I'm gonna go either way. I can tell you this, like JTMS, theyll never print Snapcaster again, or a card similar.

I was comparing it to snappy. Referring to the post they will not reprint cards with similar ability. Take me seriously can care less

I take it on my self to say im srry for this post. But my main point was im kinda in the phase where i dont play magic again and thinking about moving all my cards to someone else. But it seems like when i do the cards i trade are always worth more if i would hold on to them till later. So i guess what i was asking is snapcaster mage one of those cards thats going to turn into a power nine off this generation of magic, or will he just see reprint after reprint and never have a chance to become such a rare card?
Title: Re: Future prices

This wouldnt be the first time i quit and probly not the last. Idk there just isnt alot of ppl who play in my town so i hang it up from time to time, it helps pays the bills when i stop playing for a while. But im defently going to hold on to snapcaster and i might buy some rtr to get the shock land and hold on to them also.

Yes. Unquestionably. The price of {Snapcaster Mage} is going to go up exponentially, and will more than likely be in the triple digits at some point in the future.

I'd recommend holding on to everything to be honest with you though. I wish I hadn't sold my cards when I got into chicks. They'd be worth a small fortune right now. Chicks on the other had only go down in value as time goes on.

They cost a fortune too

Get your Innistrad enemy dual lands while you can! Before you know it they'll be like the Scars lands. When {Seachrome Coast} was $16 each, now as it nears rotation people are abandoning ship.

I knew those scars lands were destined to tank in price cuz there are so many better options outside of standard....I traded those lands off every chance I could.

{Dark Confidant} + {Umezawa's Jitte} + {Sensei's Divining Top} is one of the most diabolical things ever devised by Magic players. I still hate that till this day.

It's been reprinted and vampires were stronger in Zendikar, I think.
