I have an exalted spiritdancer deck that is similar.....I will bump it so you can check it out.  It is a fun deck.

I like your theme but I love the aura gnarlid. He gets very big very quickly and he's practically unblock able. I've won turn 3-4 with this deck if I get the right hand.

I originaly had the gnarlid in my build.....he replaced the {rabid wombats} that was originally in the build back when I started this deck in the late 90's.  As I added the exalted creatures and 9 times out of 10 my main beater has trample from {rancor} or {armadillo's cloak}.......the unblockable gnarlid does not really matter......since i just pump up a spiritdancer and swing for 10 trample damage.  The gnarlid does not mesh well with exalted since normally you can enchant another creature, let the gnarlid just get big without actually attaching auras to him, and then attack with the big enchanted creature and the big gnarlid.  Not saying one is better than the other.......just giving you a diverse opinion of this type of deck ;)

I am also always trying to find ways to keep my average CMC low and the 3 CMC gnarlid is kind of high since I want to be casting auras by turn 3, or sooner, instead of playing a gnarlid.

Very true. I like pumping up the scouts and combine with the gnarlid, make a hex proof army. But ya, there are always different ways to make this deck. Such a consistent theme. This is one of my best decks.

This deck is almost identical to my friend's aura deck except he runs {brilliant halo} and {endless wurm}  too. Sac the rancor and play it again and have a huge creature out that won't go away. We play FFA so the high CMC of 5 isn't a big deal.
