Mono-Black Vamp 'control' 60 cards, 0 sideboard 1 {Mountain} 16 {Swamp} 4 {Dragonskull Summit} 2 {Evolving Wilds} 23 lands 4 {Blood Artist} 4 {Vampire Nighthawk} 4 {Vampire Nocturnus} 4 {Bloodline Keeper} 2 {Olivia Voldaren} 18 creatures 4 {Sign in Blood} 3 {Killing Wave} 4 {Geth's Verdict} 4 {Murder} 4 {Duress} 19 other spells Sideboard Notes: Thought I would post this due to the recent talk of how bad tribal vamps is in standard. The problem with some camp decks is that vamps isn't fast, so it needs to have some aspect of control. This deck has been being worked on for a while, and tends to stomp at FNM's, about 1/2 the time gets first. The only problem is that it has a lot of 4 drops, but that tends to not be a problem. Technically not Completely mono-black, but all non-lands activate Nocturnus.... So..... |

You can't run vampires without nobles, Just cannot be done without some form
Of one drop board presence with all the different types on meta right now.

Quote from: Leevai420 on August 31, 2012, 04:51:39 PMOh no I'm splashing red for one card that is still a black card! It's the end of the world that called it mono-B!!! And I don't have money for that. Contrary to popular belief, not EVERY red deck needs bonfire.
Haha not mono black u splash red for Olivia might as well put in some bonfires
Quote from: Mothaelon on August 31, 2012, 05:05:02 PMI've done fine without it so far. It's not nessecary. It just doesn't fit... Vampires is a rather slow archetype that is more control-esqe, and Noble is an aggro card

Quote from: An Angry Fatman on September 01, 2012, 02:17:48 AMSure there are 2-3 fast cards. That's been established. But the tribal vamp archetype in general is slow. And If the only faster deck was humans, you've clearly never seen infect
I don't know about you guys saying camps are slow... I've only seen one deck that is faster than my vamp deck and it was a R/W human deck... It's fast as hell with {falkenrath aristocrats}
