iMtG Server: Gathering

Izzet Delver 60 cards, 0 sideboard 9 {Mountain} 9 {Island} 4 {Sulfur Falls} 22 lands 4 {Snapcaster Mage} 4 {Delver of Secrets} 2 {Invisible Stalker} 2 {Vexing Devil} 12 creatures 3 {Runechanter's Pike} 4 {Bonfire of the Damned} 2 {Fleeting Distraction} 2 {Increasing Vengeance} 3 {Dissipate} 2 {Assault Strobe} 2 {Chandra's Fury} 4 {Devil's Play} 4 {Amass the Components} 26 other spells Sideboard Notes: Don't own it, but I'm going to make it once RtR comes out. I'll replace Bonfire with Street Spasm (price reasons), I might replace some Snapcasters with Archaeomancers (again, price) and I'll add a lot including Goblin Electromancer.

If you can't afford snappys, I think {Mystic Retreval} would be way better than the mancer, because:

a) it fits your colors and is less mana specific (no 2 mana symbols)
b) two uses from one card
c) it costs less when flashed back

So izzet delver?

Plus it helps {runechanter's pike} until it flashbacked.

While {Vexing Devil} is good in certain decks, it is certainly not in delver. Delver is a Tempo deck and likes interacting with your opponent, not the opponent telling you what to do.
