With a {jaces erasure} and using {jaces archivist} opponent has 5 cards and so do I: we both discard our hands we both draw 5 cards and then he mills 5 cards. Right?
Correct! 🔨
How does the precendence work? Does it trigger every time I draw? So we both draw 1 card, trigger erasure he mills 1?
Thanks.
First you complete the archivist's discard/draw. After, any triggers will go (mill in this case).

Both discard, both draw 5 satisfying archivist. Then 5 triggers of erasure go on stack?
Thanks

I think it triggers when you draw a draw. So all trigger separately. But I'll leave that call to Jester.

Erasure generates 5 separate triggers.
Right but they all occur after archivist finshes resolving it's ability

I guess. One would assume, right when you draw A card the trigger would hit the stack. But I could be wrong.
Well if Erasure triggers everytime you draw a card. Your opponent would essentially draw a card then discard a card. But, this can't be right. Because the ability says "Draw five cards". Not "draw 5 cards one at a time"
Any time a player draws multiple cards as the result of an action, it is considered a separate event each time.
Any time the game state matches a trigger (you drawing a card), the trigger(s) will wait until the next time a player would get priority and they are put on Le Stack.
If an event would cause a player to lose (drawing from an empty library), that player loses the next time a player would get priority.
Have I missed anything? Any more Qs?
I think that sums it up BJ. Thanks! Much thanks to your intelligence.

(It's limited to certain areas, Magic just happens to be one)
You're welcome!
