This is what I have so far. Any recommendations? Always welcome.
To me, it feels like the {Grand Architect} is a bit of a waste here, considering he's only giving +1/+1 and maybe powering out an Automoton. Otherwise I like it. No {Illusionary Dragon}s?

Maybe you'll get some ideas.
Maybe I will swap the {grand architect} for {phantasmal dragons}.....I originally had them in the list but took the dragons out for {krovakian mists}

The mists are absolute BEASTS in this deck. Especially if you can land a {Lord of the Unreal} to make it hexproof.
Are you sure {foil} is the best card to run? If you're only playing 20 lands u might not have any to spare to reduce the cost of the spell.

That is why the highest casting cost is 3.....it will be 4 if I add the {phantasmal dragon}
I see your point since this deck runs pretty aggro, but what about other alternate casting cost counterspells: {Daze}, {Thwart} etc?
I will test it with {foil} and then test it with {daze} if need be.
