You betcha! Hexproof only applies when it's only the battlefield.
You mean because it's still being 'cast' so it's still on the 'stack' and hasn't 'resolved' yet, correct?
In this circumstance none of the cards abilities activates, including but not limited to 'when this card enters the graveyard from the battlefield'?

That's right. (I hope this wasn't a rhetorical question). Generally the abilities of permanents don't have any effect unless the ability itself says so, like Dredge. If you are ever in doubt, check the glossary in the rules.
