Title: Red sligh>>multiplayer
Post by: Cindjor on August 26, 2012, 08:45:31 PM
19x {mountain}

4x {Slith Firewalker}
4x {jackal pup}
4x {Mogg fanatic}
4x {raging goblin}
1x {batterskull}
1x {War Elemental}
2x {Hellrider}
2x {Viashino Heretic}
1x {Flametongue Kavu}

21 creatures/artifact

4x {lightning bolt}
4x {Shock}
4x {Fireblast}
4x {Reckless Abandon}
1x {hammer of Bogardan}

17 spells

So this is my favorite red deck but I need to updated it because my friends only really play multiplayer and they won't duel me because I'll blow them up in 4-5 turns since we don't run infinites. Any ideas?

I was considering {Chandra's Phoenix} because of the recursion and its cmc is low as I'm obviously trying to keep my cmc curve around 2 and 3 but that's up for debate since I do want to survive in multiplayer/2HG games

Remove the {jackal pup} put in the {stromkirk noble} (I think that is it).
1 red cost and it grows as it damages like some of your other creatures.

I'd also play the curse that adds counters to your creatures if they deal combat damage to your opponent.
{curse of the stalked prey}

Oh nice. That's a good curse to use. My {slith firewalker} got pretty damn big and won me the game. I'll look at acquiring some of those {stromkirk noble}s too.

There are a couple of other good red vampires that work along the same theme as the Nobles.
Hope that helps.

Yeah for sure. I didn't want to make a goblin deck but vampires seems like a good deal. Never thought about that before.
