How experienced are you and how big of a collection do you have? They diminish in value the more cards and serious you get.

Toolkit kinda rules. It has a deckbox to hold cards in, and depending on the "semi-random" cards you get, features a lot of standard staples. You get packs too for post-rotation standard. It's a good buy if you need a good base to build around.

If you're one of the number of people who already have most innistrad-dark ascension-avacyn restored-M13 commons and uncommons, it's not exactly worth it. A fat pack is better (you get the same deckbox, land and 9 packs instead of 4)

I love the toolkits. Honestly it normally costs 16 dollars for 4 packs anyway. And then you are getting a 285 card mix of commons, uncommons, and lands for 4 dollars, especially now that the toolkit is updated with all standard cards!!!! It's a staple for me to get one on each new core set.

Yeah i bought a lot of them last year when they had vampire night halks and bolts in them. Made my money back easy with those backs. Still have about 20 bolts sitting around somewhere
