Title: Binders: 200 card limit?
Post by: Peridot Weapon on August 23, 2012, 09:38:20 PM
I've made several different binders in iMtG to mirror my "real life" binders which are sorted by color.

I noticed that when I get to around 200 cards or so, I can't add more cards from within the binder (there's no empty "last page" to scroll to) and I can't see any cards on later pages even if there are more than 200 in that binder. It just stops before it gets to the final cards and won't scroll further.

Is this a known capacity issue? And if so, is there some way to filter by type (rarity, creature/instant/etc) when looking at the cards in the binder? I know you can SORT by various classes, but it might be easier to be able to "turn off" all creatures in a binder if you just want to see all Sorceries, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a simple solution again; I'm not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed sometimes. :)

About the supposed "bug" I can't answer you, although it doesn't seem to replicate here. About the filter, you can create a bookmark filtering it with all the card filters and select binders to show in there

Nice. That's what I had hoped to find, but hadn't had the convenience to sit down and figure out - if there was a way to search and see how many valid Red Uncommons I had in my collection for the Extended format. (Well, not that SPECIFIC situation, but you get the idea.)

And as long as I'm only viewing the "text list" and not the virtual cards, I don't seem to run into that card limit.

Good times. :)
