Since most of us are trading cards based on an average mint/near mint value, if your cards are banged up, please let whoever you are trading with, especially if trading with me, know in advance as that not only affects the values, it's just disheartening to get cards that look like they've been played with and never had a card sleeve on them ever.
I think it's just courteous to mention that, as well as making a trade more accurate. After all, a $5 card in mint is considered about half that or less in played/extremely played condition.
Just a thought that popped into my head.
