I Would say no - since the artifact is not put into the graveyard before you shuffle it into your libary
It says "shuffle into your library". It doesn't say "sacrifice it".

Your graveyard and the Elixir go to your deck. The elixir says shuffle it into your deck. It says nothing about going to the gy or sacrificing it.

Or offically the controller of the banding creatures chooses damage assignment. Plus some other issues when blocking attacking banded creatures.
Elixir would get shuffled back into your library along with the graveyard you made BEFORE you had your emblem as it saying nothing about the elixir going to the graveyard after it resolves, now your graveyard is empty and you have a full deck and a huge advantage....
