My first attempt at a true standard deck. Feel free to poke and pry. Help and comments are welcome.

Hey man this looks pretty good for your first try and the mana curve can't be too bad!

But, I would advise you to run atleast 20-22 lands with this deck. Which you have 12 slots open to make the minimum of sixty cards for a standard deck. Add land to those 12 slots and youll have 22 land.

What should I be looking for in a sideboard for this?

And according to this app my mana is 2.32%. So not to bad.

I haven't built this yet, I'm just curious if you guys think this is a good FNM deck?
(My normal play group this will do fine.)

Good rule of thumb, for each color mana cost for all non land spells in the deck have 2times that in mana so if you have 4 white 8 black and 2 green run 8 lands that tap for white 16 that tap for black and 4 for green or whatevers :p duel lands count twords both colors they tap for

Its either twice or half... I dot remember lol

I would take out duskmantle for sublime angel

Take out a swamp for a plain

For the switch
The angel is a far better 4 drop

Agreed however I have no angels though, I pretty much have everything to put this deck together expect the dual lands. And those are cheap at my LGS.

I wasn't informed of a budget for this deck

Looks really good for your first build in the mana base I would drop 5 swamps 1 plaines and the gavony for 2 forests 4 {isolated chapel} and another cathedral in the maid deck I would drop the angelic benedictation for two {sublime archangel} and the abundant growth cause you won't have that much basic land left prolly for two more aven squire because it is awesome in exalted but {sublime archangel} is a must have... I hope this helps

I'll be honest {abundant growth} is really for the card draw.

I'm worried that if I take out so many basic lands that I'll be behind a turn on mana, it will keep coming in tapped.

My deck is RWB and I only have 7 basic lands out of 25 and I don't have any problems so I think it will be ok plus if u don't get more green sorces u will never get to play rancor like u should.

Played a variation of this deck tonight. Didn't do so good, I def. need the {isolated chapels}. But my LGS is out of them right now. :-(. I'm wondering if I should put in the big exalted guy from the B/W and put it in here.

This is the finished version of the deck. Runs really well, except verses Izzet and his overload.

I would replace servant for more {silver blade paladin} or {sublime archangel}s. I ran an exalted deck for a while, and you want to see both of them just about every game, I ran 4 of each. It's a super fun deck to play and continue tweaking.

Too much mana to be any good competitively. Sorry! {Sublime Archangel} is really the only angel you want in here.

Thanks, I've actually changed it a little, put some {vampire nighthawks} and changed the mana a little.
