So, the other day my friend and I were having a match. I had a Huntmaster out and passed the turn. Upon passing, my opponent's Primordial Hydra's(at that time a 4/4)ability triggered, and my Huntmaster's transformation went above it. Huntmaster successfully transformed, and his ability dealt him two and his creature two killing it. I then proceeded to use Brinstone Volley on my opponent's Hydra in response to his 2/2 creature dying from Ravager. Was that a legal play on my part?
works.
We were unsure if I had the ability to cast an instant between the resolution of my Ravager's ability and the completion of his Hydra's. Thanks for the help.
For anything on the stack to resolve, both players get the chance for "fast effects" (instant spells, and abilities) starting with the player whose turn it is.
Nice play, btw. :)
Be careful anout who's turn it is in situations like this though. Had something similar happened on your turn the huntsman wouldnt have transformed in time since active players abilities goes on the stack first an resilve last.
