Sorry for the Gotye pun. I just got my second {Ajani, caller of the pride}
What's the recommended amount of a single planeswalker to use? Playset seems too much, 2-3 seems okay but I think I'll stick with a pair.
It depends on how generally helpful the walker is in your deck, if he could easily win you games, anywhere from 2-4. If he's to costly ({Nicol bolas, the planeswalkers}) then maybe only one to two. So I think 2-4 Is a safe bet. With ajani, he'll be a target as soon as he hits, and he's only a three drop. So I'd go with 2-3 of him.

Yeah we play too much magic...
Depends on mana cost, threat level towards oppent, and how well the abilities are in equivalence to the loyalty counters you gain or lose. As for the new ajani I would say 3. His -3 is pretty scary and he stays alive after it, and his +1 is very helpful even if you don't have a creaure at the moment you don't have to target the enemy's. His last is good enough to make you oppent keep him on their mind for awhile if they don't get rid of him when you first play him.
I'd say run 3

For Ajani I would run 4. You can always kill him with his second ability.
