You could use more removal, but otherwise, good job.

The {Phyrexian gatekeeper}, {Guul Draz assassin}, and {vampire nighthawks} do a good job in the creature control department......I took out the {doom blades} because I just didn't use em.

Good job. I think this deck is excellent.
Thanks!!!!! Building this deck got me back into magic.....it was the first deck I built in almost 10 years.
Looks good
Very nice dude =] This looks pretty close to the MB deck I was running when the Zendikar block was running rampant, minus the non-standard legal cards. I really like it!
Thanks
I updated this list. This is one of the best variants I have found with vampires. This has plenty of fast creatures, lots of removal, card drawing with the ever powerful {Necropotence}, and mama ramp with {lake of the dead} and good ole {dark ritual}.
I found a lot of the other vampires like {bloodline keeper}, {Bloodlord of Vasgoth}, and some others to be underwhelming and inefficient. I like this swarm strategy that you can pump early with {bad moon}, pump and steal creatures with {captivating vampire}, pump and fly with {vampire nocturnus}, and late game ridiculous pump with {coat of arms}.....ohh and of course {blade of the bloodchief} works well with destroying their creatures or sacing {bloodghast} to {bloodthrone vampire} or {Phyrexian tower}.
My point is that static buffs are most effective with a small fast army. Giving +1/1 to you {Bloodlord of Vasgoth} is not as good as giving +1/1 to 1 {child of night}, 2 {vampire lacerators}, and so on. Not saying this is the best vampire deck but I am saying don't underestimate a small swarm......especially when you can pump em up.
Sorin you just about stole the name of my MonoBlack Vamps deck lol

You would have had to go back pretty far to find this deck and copy it. I just updated it in the deck builder and submitted a post to bump it back up. You wanted some advice on your vamp deck so here is some advice ;) Not saying build this exact deck but examples are sometimes the best advice.
im going to ask real quick, I am using a {Leaden Myr} and it can tap for 1 black mana, can I use that ability as soon as I summon it?

No. You cannot use a tap ability on a creature unless the creature has haste.
alright, thanks
