I made a {U}{R} tron deck using the Urza lands. {Urza's Mine} {Urza's Tower} and {Urza's Power Plant}.
I can dig for them using {Impulse} and {Brainstorm} and then cast eldrazi fairly early. I also have counters and a few burn spells to stall.
So in conclusion is Blue red tron viable as a fairly competetive deck?
Depends. Modern, legacy, or casual?
Actually can't be modern, brainstorm isn't legal there...

Proxy up (if you need to) or cockatrice and give it a run. Probably the best information you will have is by actually testing it. :)
Im slowly working on a {myojin of infinite rage} tron. Seems fun if you have enough nonland mana available.
