Title: What a payoff!
Post by: JakeyWakey on December 24, 2011, 12:47:02 AM
I just entered my first tournament in 10 years and won with my wolf ramp deck! It was a free tournament so I got some promos and some standard packs, pulled a {garruk, relentless} in one of the packs.

I'm in Kerrville, Texas. The card shop owner holds three free standard tournaments a month. I was shaking I haven't played in a tournament since I was a kid.

That's sweet! Wish we could have few ones. Grata on your win.

I honestly have never truly left, I was just lost for a number of years, and still played on and off during that time. When I finally returned to the real world if you will, my brother told me about innastrad and I was hooked again. I bought two packs of shards of alara awhile ago but didn't get back in till July of this year. Then we found a local card shop who's main product is magic and off we went.

Went off is an understatement. We are more involved then we've ever been. We started playing around ice age. It's been a huge part of our lives
