More removal? Not an expert on the Heartless Summoning decks.

There are built in removals ie {skinrender}. {massacre Wurm}  {perilous myr}. And {elesh}.  Some of the ramp allows for some hard casting without the heartless,  but with {heartless summoning} in play, the deck can be punishing.

I am not in love with the {sunblast angel} and have been considering {tempered steel} for creature boost and {lilliana} for some early game control.

I dunno, many o the creatures are removal too. I'm thinking a full set of the {Solemn Simulacrum}s to get land, or dig into your deck if you don't get Heartless.

Maybe a {steel hellkite} or 2 for non creature removal too?

Might be a good outlet for late game mana, assuming it goes to late game.

So would {ratchet bomb} be a better play?

Too slow. One of the problems I see for this deck is handling fatties. Ones that survive the -2/-2 or small damage from {Perilous Myr}. I was thinking {Fiend Hunter} in place of the {Oblivion Ring}s so that you could go full creature. But OR is such a good removal spell because it can handle any permanent.

What about the staple black removal spells - {Doom Blade} and {Go for the Throat} come to mind.

Are you set on having this be standard cause if not here
{Nip Gwyllion}  {Havest Gwyllion}  {Divinity of Pride}  {Edge of the Divinity}  {Bloodied Ghost} and for removal {Unmake} if you are keeping it standard then dont follow my advice.

Other than a few older cards from fourth edition, all of my collection is standard.  I like the fiend hunters.  Will try those and and construct a side board based on some of the issues.

Fiend Hunters would be awesome in this. I like it. What I imagine to be. I've had a friend who's wanted to do a BW Heartless just because of Elish Norn. I just personally prefer Massacre and Sheoldred.

So go down to 2 {fiend hunters} and 2{skinrenders}?

I'd keep the {Skinrender}. Go down to one {Rune-scarred Demon}?  Sideboard?

I was thinking you could side out the O-rings (;)) for the {Fiend Hunter}.  Tag them
In if non-creatures (Planeswalkers, Lands, etc) are giving troubles.

So a true heartless deck should have all creatures with 4 {heartless summonings} and then a side board for other decks

I have been working on a BW Heartless deck for a few weeks now, and I have found that keeping a full playset of {Rune-scarred Demon} is key. I end up playing them like Squadron Hawks (using them to fetch the others) and then end the chain with one of the game ending fatties. It also turns the deck into a tool box where I only have to carry one of each of the fatties and pick which one is most useful for each situation.

I side board the {Perilous Myr} to deal with pesky {Mirran Crusaders}, but run {Doomblade} main for more versatility. I also run 3 {Divine Reckoning} main to reset the board when I get behind, plus it combos so well with {Massacre Wurm}, {Sheoldred, Whispering One}, and it even let's me re-tutor sometimes with any {Rune-Scarred Demon}s that get cleared by using {Un-burial Rites}.

Also, a full set of {Solemn Simulacrums}s and {Palladium Myr}s help accelerate into the fatties when you don't get the {Heartless Summoning}.

Would u mind posting the deck so I can take a look at it?

Modified the deck to play more effectively with or without the heartless summoning.  {massacre wurm} is a beast in this deck.  {sun Titan} may get added for another way to regenerate {myr superion} plus a sideboard of {perilous myrs} combos well with them as well....  May replace the angel.

I really hate that {Diabolic tutor} costs 4......cuz I only play Casual and just use {demonic tutor}.....anyway I think 2 tutors would help your chances to get the {heartless summoning}......just that high cost makes it so hard to use effectively

The good thing about the {palladium myr} and the set of {solemn simulacrum} is that by turn 4 without a {heartless summoning} I should be able to at least get out a {bloodgift demon} or if I'm lucky a {Wurmcoil engine}

{Divinity of Pride} is such a good card! One of my first decks I ever owned housed him. I splurged around $80 on cards after playing a booster pack built deck for around 2 months, and the Divine vs. Demonic deck happened to be part of it. I grabbed the best if my white cards and made an angel/lifelink deck with a couple spirit loops, Divinity was a powerhouse!

I personally wouldn't go there unless I was playing pod.

Double green is too much to splash. It looks like there's plenty of removal here too.

I decided to sideboard some {oblivion rings} and {leonin arbiters} instead of splashing colors.  Gonna post my whole deck with completed sideboard.
