I have no lands and nothing really I will half to start from scratch. I have mabey 150 dollars to spend and will buy more cards over time I would like to start competitive very soon..... Any starting deck ideas or budget decks to start with... Thanks :)

I think you can do competitive inexpensive Merfolk, Elves, or Affinity decks to get you started.

I don't have any decklists to point you to, but if you google the above it should give you something to go on.

For $150 you can make a top tier Affinity deck. Mono-{U} merfolk is possible, use {Daze} and {Counterspell} until you can get {Force of Will}. {AEther Vial}, and maybe a {Mutavault}. Run {ghost quarter} till you can afford {Wasteland}.

Merfolk would be best, but it's an investment. Affinity can get you started quick, but in the long run you'll wish you had a Merfolk deck. It'll be more like $300-$400 to complete it.

It runs at such a high level, especially with {Master of the Pearl Trident}. Consistent power on the board, turn after turn.

Edit: make decks in cockatrice, see what you like more.

Dudecore, would you mind posting a budget Merfolk legacy deck?  I would Really love to see your take on it and I was considering building one myself. Thanks!
