Quote from: Brandalog on August 11, 2012, 09:10:47 PMNo, it's hard to adjust to the thought of infinite mana after playing with a finite amount for so long.
My god, I really am dumb aren't I?
Quote from: Thattallguy on August 30, 2012, 07:04:14 PMI agree with alchemy, but hatebound is kinda cutesy and easily disrupted.
I tried faithless looting in my heartless lich deck. I prefer forbidden alchemy. Faithless looting causes you to lose cards from your hand and that can hurt a deck like this. Also I would think about putting {flayer of the hatebound} in here. Excellent way to deal damage especially with the infinite mana combo.
Quote from: GoJuDragon on August 31, 2012, 12:42:39 AMNo. I thought we had this conversation already. There are two combos and the open ended burn spell is harder to counter act but doesnt magine gun the field before infinite mana i will admit.

Quote from: Thattallguy on September 01, 2012, 02:50:27 AMNeed i name every spot removal, wrath effect, and graveyard disruption there is in high quality standard decks? Not to mention the rare counter spell. Fact is that {havengul lich} is not a reliable card, it's power comes from it's ability to end a game the turn it is played. He is not a durable creature and once dead he's pretty useless. Flayer is powerful and i love the effect, but banking on the weakest part of the deck and adding that to the fact that most the time youre creatures will be weaker than usual when entering and flayer just doesnt make the cut in my eyes.
How is hatebound easily disrupted? It works great with this deck. If he is in play and your constantly casting creatures from your GY you are getting the {war storm surge} effect without the war storm surge.
Quote from: Brandalog on September 01, 2012, 05:37:50 PMThanks, that actually means a lot. I cant say for sure if heartless will be powerful post rotation, but i know it is severly under played right now despite it's power. I dot want people to miss out on this great deck.
Bump.
Credit for 90% of this deck goes to kaleo42.

Sorry last time i played against turbo fog they just ran me straight into my combo and couldnt prevent the massive amouts of damage coming at them both fron attacks and effects. However my version was heavy red and a lot faster than any heartless deck ive seen or made myself.
