Title: Another Mindslaver Question
Post by: Thorn on August 10, 2012, 06:13:41 AM
I heard that when you use {Mindslaver} on someone you can look at their sideboard during the turn you control them.
Is this true?

You would have to. Otherwise, if they had something like {Cunning Wish} or {Research}, it would be impossible to use properly.
I see your argument, but I'm not 100%.  I'm trying to find info; I'll let you all know.

Specifically it says:

712.4. If information about an object would be visible to the player being controlled, it's visible to both that player and the controller of the player.

109.1. An object is an ability on the stack, a card, a copy of a card, a token, a spell, a permanent, or an emblem.

It's confirmed.  I just found it in the Card rules.  (Why I didn't look there first, I don't know.   :-\)

Edit: by confirmed, I mean you can look at ther sideboard.
