Why not {Ghost Council} as Commander?

You can build some pretty powerful decks with Teysa. I love the council too though.

I would start by killing all the one-drops such as {Elite Vanguard}, {Blood Pet}, and {Selfless Cathar}. EDH is the land of big, and your small creatures will get squashed.

Oops, sorry They're suppose to be third choice! Must have put the enter in the wrong spot. Fixed now. ðŸ'

*sigh* Yes, you are right. I was questioning their inclusion also, they were in there purely for sac purposes. I will exchange them for token makers?

Yeah, when you only have around 60 cards to jam in there you can't afford to have sacrificial fodder take up deck space.

Oh man, I'm leaving a space open for {Jar of Eyeballs} for the 2.0 version of this deck for when it comes out!

I have just completed and reported modifications for The Currency of Orzhov 2.0.

However, I just know its gonna go into version 2.5 after Dark Ascension's release! 😊

Thought or comments welcomed still!

Yeah, I thought the weenies were a waste of space, but I wanted some easy sacs. I found some nice replacements though! It works quite well now! I just needed that extra push from a fellow wizard.

{Unmake} doesnt put the creature in the graveyard, which is a big strategy of the deck. {Stillmoor Cavalier} is a a weenie and we got rid of them. And I don't own {Mortify}. ðŸ˜"

I actually did consider Ish Sah BUT in the end I only really like using it when I can sac it again and again, with things like {Throne of Geth}. I've got {Angel of Despair} and all the reanimates to compensate. 😌

HA! That's funny, I actually considered that too. It got to the point where I just wanted to finish the deck so I could start on an Zur the Enchanter Commander deck. However, you are bringing the debate back into my head.

Since going into job related solitude, I've now noticed there's a lot of 💀🌞 love (finally) and lots of requests for help around {Teysa, Scion of Orzhov}, so I thought I'd bump this deck of mine to I've you guys some inspiration.

It still cleans up when I use it but has been updated since AVR.

Also the deck looks pretty darn good.

Please explain why {Unmake} is not in the deck?

Post by: Spikepit on October 14, 2012, 02:06:46 AM
{Unmake} defeats the purpose of the deck: kill creature and use it for your own benefit (therein lies the currency of Orzhov). To exile it removes a potential minion. 👹

Bumpies!

My oldest and most fav deck. It's gone through many evolutions for many years, but the theme has remained the same: sacing, destroying, reanimating and Lifelink.

But I need help at the moment, I'm torn for the 99th spot between the cards in the sideboard section. Two of which are meant for {Agent of the Fates} the other two are just for awesomeness. But I can only choice on dog these. 😔

Help?

I don't mind anyone asking anything. I guess I'm more focused on things leaving the battlefield than entering it... also, I don't think I own one of those.
