I say don't run murder until you have to. It costs {1}{B}{B}. There are two things wrong with it: it costs 1 too many and it is too mana specific. The latter won't hurt too much because you run one color. But there will be times when you just have a swamp and a cathedral. Plus it costs 3. With so few lands you might not be able to cast it before the big creature your opponent cast last turn swings for a game changing amount.
{Go For The Throat} seems better, and there are alternatives if your meta is full of artifacts.
Just checked now coz ive been busy.. Nice suggestion coffee vampire but Go for the throat has gone modern, what rtr card should add to make it at standard?
