If a card changes property type until end of turn by something altering it, say {liquimetal coating} changing something to an artifact til end of turn, if that something changes zones (sent to the graveyard because it was destroyed for example), is it still an artifact until end of turn? Or does the zone change nullify the type change effect?
In short, if I {Liquimetal Coating} + {Smelt} my friend's {Jace, the Mind Sculptor}, would he be able to return Jace to hand with {Remember the Fallen} or similar artifact return, assuming it was the same turn he was liquimetal'ed?
it is now a new object so no. also for reference their is a difference between a creature and a creature card, artifact and artifact card etc.
Confirmed.

Well there's always {Mycosynth Lattice} pretty sure that would work.
No, it doesn't make cards in your graveyard artifacts. Just Colorless.
