Waiting after a boring Core Set for the new block. Especially because it's Return to Ravnica.
What does everyone do when they're bored with Magic? I play chess. I guess it's just a logical progression from strategy card game to the ultimate strategy board game.
I start looking at other formats... Modern, Legacy...
I start doing what I always do.....descend my existence into a video game. Right now, I am on the verge of beating Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Next up, FALL OF CYBERTRON!!!!!

Right now does suck because we have to wait on RtR and video game season starts off mid October pretty much. I went to game stop to pay off a couple of the games I had preordered and had to buy a new game to try and pass the time. It is doing a good job so far.
Team Fortress 2 and Street Fighter x Tekken, but recently I've been smitten with Day Z.

I don't pay attention to sports. Just not the type of guy I guess. I do like playing soccer though :p and I do watch the super bowl for the great commercials. ;D
I actually enjoy this time of year. At least for modern. My friends and I have taken to calling it "Doubling Season" as there are two core sets to play with. Yes, I do anxiously await the new set, but it's fun when standard has the biggest card pool.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS!!! and I've only been playing magic for a few months .. not planning on getting bored with it .. can't wait until I actually make more noise in tournaments though 😒

Just so much of today's media/entertainment is so dumb that it just flat out irritates me. Just my opinion, no offense intended! :) I'm talking about a lot of TV shows and stuff like that. And I was just waking up, so I wasn't really sure what I was saying though. Vile isn't quite the right word :-\

not offended. Just wondering exactly. And between the hours of video games and magic. I've not watched tv in a long time only a few key things (supernatural). But when I did watch tv i did notice a huge Differances in the cartoons. Not a fan of them now really.

If I could go back, I would have dropped out of high school. I eventually graduated, got a bachelors degree in education/history. I'm a mechanic making lots of $$$ per hour in a field that is still hiring.
To each their own. I made some life long friendships in highschool and college. In a way I don't regret it.

Haha. I totally agree about all the pointless work. I kinda acted like a jerk in class cuz I didn't need to pay attention, and I'd just joke around and be sarcastic the whole time. I regret doing that now, cuz it was unfair to the teachers and the people who actually wanted to learn (I was in the "smart" class, so there were actually people who cared lol). But overall it was definitely a good experience. I met a lot of new people and made a few close friends I'll stay in contact with for the rest of my life.
College on the other hand... Mixed feelings lol. The experience is nice, but the price tag sort of puts a damper on things. It's definitely a quick transition from high school where mommy and daddy do everything for you to the real world where you're accountable for just about everything. Ah well, three years to go!
It's summer! Garden, swim, read, eat sugar cereal and watch cartoons. I think it's great that there is a mtg break. Soak up the season. Many of us will be stuck inside in a few months and then RtR will be waiting for us.
