What do you like more? Standard or EDH? I think EDH is better because you can use any pack u want, and there's more variety since u r allowed to only have one of each card.
I play both just for more of a verity of play
EDH... Not a fan of standard...
I love both, but i personally prefer standard cause it envolves more change and gives my mind a constant challenge. For those who dont play as wholeheartedly as myself and friends EDH is much better.
Standard. I played edge for a little but but grew bored because I was playing the same 3-5 people all the time. Maybe if I could have tried to find a turnement some where for more variety. I've been thinking of making another edh.
I like EDH way more. Mostly because i think that multiplayer formats are more fun, with more laughs and more enjoyable table talk. But also I like the variety. You see more different ideas in EDH along with cards you wont see on play in any other format, and lots of net decking and play-sets of the current "hot" cards in standard.
I think it's just that standard is a majorly Spike-oriented format, and EDH is more for Johnny and Timmy. And as a big fat Johnny/Timmy...well, my choice is clear

By that i meant they dont have to. Its easy to play casual edh, i cant say the same for standard (at larger shops).
EDH. It's more fun. But I can play about 10 standard games before I finish 1 EDH

Haha so true. I think my current record for longest EDH game is 10 hours.
It. Just. Wouldn't. End.
Finally my friend drops Miracle {Terminus}, {Gisela, blade of Goldnight}, and {True Conviction} in 1 turn, and that is the ONE turn around the table where the rest of us are finally out of wipes, counters, and kills.
I like EDH cause you do not have to spend a huge ammount of money constantly updating your standard deck.
However I do like standard because you are limeted to certain cards.
I like standard
I feel like the two are completely different beasts. Standard, which I prefer, is highly competitive and constantly evolving. EDH is a more playful, casual format. I enjoy both, but standard is where my mind wanders to most.

^this+ it's a buy once use forever no rotatations
Never played edh but I feel that standard helps you to be more addaptive and helps you get used to new concepts. I would love to build an EDH deck sometime because I would think that EDH helps people to have a synergy-mindset when deck building, since there can be only one copy of a card.
