Honestly when it comes to commander it's a lot of experimenting. Sometimes certain cards don't feel right when you play them so you make a note and swap them out at a later time. Like when I first built my {nicol bolas} EDH it was horrible. But after playing around and seeing what wasn't working I eventually got it to work really well
