Title: Tap that, smack that
Post by: Nypinto123 on December 19, 2011, 09:39:10 PM
I really like the gideons lawkeeper and royal assassin combo. Gideon makes them tap target creature then the royal assassin destroys tapped creature. Love it.

Use the squiggly lines to border the cards that you talk about it will put a hyperlink to the card {royal assassin}

Don't forget {Gideon's Lawkeeper}.

{Royal Assassin} also works great with {Icy Manipulator} or {Rathi Trapper}.  ;)

Awsome that an artifact has that power. Into the needed pile it goes, unless i go black/white.

If you get a Trapper, you can stick to black.

But is the trapper good for standard play? If so im on it like white on rice. Also i had a general question i posted, dont kno if u had seen it, but where would i go to find the definitions of some of the phrasing thats used. Ie some1 refereed to my deck as
U/B aggro control. I am kinda fuzzy on what these terms mean and i see them everywhere? If u respond in a different thread i understand

Of all the cards we mentioned, {Gideon's Lawkeeper} and {Royal Assissin} are legal in Standard.

I made a comment on the abbreviations in the Bloodline Mill thread. I think I'll dedicate a thread to that.

My friend has a deck that uses this technique in several different ways. He no longer uses it, as everyone refuses to play against it. The deck has 4 {tumble magnets}, 4 {Gideon's lawkeepers}, 4 {blinding mages}, and various other cards designed to tap creatures. He uses these in combination with cards that destroy tapped creatures like {royal assassins} and {sunblast angels}. It's a completely overpowered deck.

It's a completely overpowered deck.

You just need to make deck to combat this every deck can be beat especially if you know what to expect
Also {traitor's roar} can be a fun but expensive way to tap them
