So I was playing with my sister and played {Delver of Secrets}. She {Essence Scatter}ed it. I {Negate}d that. She negated my negate. I {Dissipated} the negate. Delver finally resolved! Anyone else have moments like that?
That's a lot of card loss for a delver. Haha.
I know. Our games we each get like 10 mana out. We just mess with each other
I was playing counter mayor and my opponent was playing stasis.
{Stasis}
{Counterspell}
{Force of Will}
{Daze}
{Daze}
By then we were both tapped out. He already had a {Garruk Wildspeaker} out and that was game.
Attacked with {Engulfing Slagwurm} enchanted with 2 {Rancor}s while my opponent had {Stuffy Doll} out. I only had 8 life
Had Out a couple of Slivers and a Legion enchanted with two {Alpha Status}

You would only have had to deal 1 damage to Stuffy and the rest would have gone through. Plus, you'd have gained one life from the wurm's effect.

You are right besides the gaining life. Since he isn't destroyed yøū don't gain the life
no, you gain life. it doesn't need to be destroyed. they're two separate sentences. It doesn't say "destroy that creature. if a creature was destroyed this way, you gain.." or whatever, you'll still gain life even though stuffy's indestructible.

Nope. It wasn't killed. Or destroyed
It's a ruling on the card. You still gain life if the creature is not destroyed.

Actually I didn't think about that. It was only dealing one to stuffy with trample, and yeah, I agree, I would have gained the life.

Oh I see. I don't have that feature! Thanks
Casting {doom blade} and then having a counter war to see if it resloves. I won cause it resolved ;)
