Do you suppose that they are commissioning alt art for all five guild leaders?  Probably, I guess. Still, they might use the same art in the duel decks as in the set.
Besides, I thought the DDs were supposed to have some spoilers. If they change him, he's no longer spoiled, he's different.

only duel decks to do so are elspeth vz tezzy and this one. There's
no guarantee that niv-mizzet was the spoiled izzet card, and even then they might just be spoiling his presence in the new set.

I get your point, but I dunno. I guess I'd believe three art before I'd see them putting out a different Niv then the one in DD.

Once again, I hope you're right.

My belief is that they'll reprint Niv-Mizzet, Firemind excatly as before. And yes, they gave us Curiosity in INN block just for this.

It was said during the comic-con panel that each guild leader was gonna have new abilities. Which means a new niv-Mizzet. The DD's usually put 2 spoilers in them for the next set; one being the gogori legend and something else in izzet. Hopefully a new draw spell or counterspell.

I remember that, but when I saw they hadn't changed Niv that maybe he wasn't the leader any more.

I also want to note that I was not doubting out of mistrust, but out of disbelief.

I can't wait to see the new version!  Yay Izzet!

Since Gideon Jura is on Ravnica and joined Boros, do you think any Eldrazi are going to appear? I know it's kinda soon to revisit the Eldrazi, but that's sort of his thing, right?

Also, Jace is the head of the Infinite Consortium on Ravnica. The promo picture is him and Niv-Mizzet chillin. I wonder what his motivation is. It's unlikely he'd get pulled into the fire mind, because jace is quite brilliant himself.

I wouldn't mind getting into the flavor of this set. I'm also digging the art they've released so far too.

Do you think the whole block is going to be dark and photorealistic?

I want to see remand reprinted

that would spur modern a bit.
