Want to make a black deck

The best way to learn is by doing. Don't be afraid to try something.

Personally if you want to try out Mono-Black the options avaliable to you are Mono-Black Infect and Mono-Black Control.
I personally recommend Infect, since it's quick and fast.

Check out my zombie infestation deck posted in the standard forum. It is pretty solid especially with nim deathmantle. I have had a lot of fun with this fairly competitive deck. Some people think I should put skinrender into the deck but I think it is fine. If a Titan gets sacked you just pay 4 mana and attach nim deathmantle to it and bring it back from the graveyard. As long as you attack every turn with your unblockable titans you produce 2 2/2 zombie tokens. It is pretty overwhelming for opponents.

Nim does sound fun
