I haven't got problem with backups, but the upgrading to the last beta version didn't resolve the problem: database is still not accessible.

It wasn't supposed to resolve the problem, it was supposed to allow you to send me your backups, and me to see your crash logs.

This update turned searchin in a pain in the ass. It's freezing and taking too long...

Really? Which device are you using?

The realtime search function is really cool. However there's a problem that occurs once I select the card I want. When I return to card database, the search list will be frozen to the last search entry I made. It gets fixed if I exit back to imtg and access card database again though.
I'm using an iPod 3GS btw.

This is a known issue that you can avoid.  Make sure that you close the "keyboard" by clicking Search.  If you do this before clicking on the card, you won't have this problem.

As far as I'm aware what you're asking is impossible. If I try to backup my iPod to another computer the only way it will let me is if it erases all content. Which would include iMtG and it's backup files... So I may be screwed, huh?

I didn't do much with the files you have sent me yet, but in the meantime I've found out that if you connect your device to iTunes with which you haven't synced yet, it will allow you to go to your device, App section, and at the bottom you will find iMtG and will be able to save all your data on the PC, and then put it back after reinstallation - even if you won't sync with that iTunes.

Really? Well I know of a friend or two who would let me use their computer to do this. Thanks.

I did what you suggested; back up the files through someone else's computer. Then I deleted the app and reinstalled the App Store version. The app ran without crashing and had an intact database. I then uploaded those files I had on to my Dropbox account in a folder named iMtG and then went to the app to restore from Dropbox. It worked! For the most part. It's missing a few of the decks I had built but a large part of them are there. My needed list is also a bit different than it should be. But I'll take it. Thanks for the idea!
