He's been messaging me on Facebook,

When I asked about Taysby having a similar issue with his cards:
"Yes, if you knew how often things get stolen at my lgs you'd understand"

I brought it up later in the conversation:
"You put yourself in the situation, if you knew the lgs had a history, keep a closer eye on your .poo. and don't expect someone else to just get over paper."

I referred to the cards as paper because of an earlier statement he made:
""Help" isnt asking me a bunch of questions then doing absolutely nothing. "Help" would be getting him to stop trying to press charges over GOD DAMN PIECES OF PAPER"

But any was back to the trial hope it gets resolved.

Money is just pieces of paper, but it has ... Value... *shudder* (really it doesn't, gold does,, and money is slowly heading toward its natural state, 0, but whatever.). Just the same as cards.

Tell him that argument (minus my rant).  And that his excuses aren't helping him.  From me, thanks.
He's apparently stalking the trial so he's seen what you have to say Taysby 😉

He wasn't too happy about my post though.. 😰

I recently attempted to make a trade with him, asked if he would be willing to send first and he completely flipped out over why I wasn't okay with simultaneous sending. It's just a thing I do with members I've never had dealings with. When I asked why he couldn't send first he said it was because he needed the cards that Friday and wasn't okay with waiting. Not sure if this is helpful or pertains to the issue at hand, but I found it really strange. I did remember his crap he pulled in the past and honestly that was an additional reason why I asked for him to send first.

Just file the report and get it over with. If we can't tell if he's being truthful, he's probably lying.

From what he's saying on the Facebook post he made, he has no intention of compensating you and thinks you should drop it because it's just cardboard.

From what I see, it just really seems like he is refusing to compensate the victim in any way. I'm not sure why he doesn't just make another account and come here to defend himself?

I agree.

From what Spencer just sent me, it seems like he doesn't intend to compensate, and just wants the charges dropped because they would have a negative impact on him.

I believe asking someone to drop charges just because you don't want to deal with the consequences is ridiculous. He should get on here and defend himself, because from what I've seen, there's no real reason to drop these charges.

He is responsible for his end no matter the excuse. If his cards actually got stolen, crappy, but doesnt give you a free pass. Sorry.

Wanted to point out a few more things...

He was suppose to send on the 24th of March and his claims his stuff was stolen on the 28th

When I mentioned to him about him not responding to my text he claimed his phone was dead for a week...it was iMessage and it showed he read every message I sent within 5 mins

If he wasn't so full of lies...I might actually believe him about them being stolen and while I would still want something for my cards I would be a little less urgent about getting them

I'm a very reasonable guy and fairly patient...but I don't take well to being taken advantage of... He has until Wednesday morning next week to get me a tracking number...if I don't have it I'm filing charges
