I hate it when people who better understand subjects in school are forced to sit in classes with people well below their level and the class is dumbed down to the point where those who do get it are so bored they don't pay attention or do their work. And then the people who are slowing the class down and making it insufferable for you complain that you are being distracting.

Does your school have AP classes or a separated cluster for TAG...talented and Gifted?
We have some but not enough. I am in every advanced class I can be in right now and I am still bored out of my mind. I am taking (as a Junior) pre-calculus, AP Biology, AP Microeconomics, English 1510 and Music Theory I but all of my other classes are normal.

Maybe you should try going to magnet school. I felt the same way some of my school years. While in 7-8th grade I went to a school that was split in half, one half was a magnet school and the other half just public. In high school I went to BTWHSPVA and I absolutely loved it, not to mention they challenge you and it looks good on your college resume. It only good if you're into visual arts, dance, theatre, and music. Upon being accepted you have to declare a cluster and your classes are split between academic and your cluster :)

Same thing happened to me back in the day. My Advanced calculus teacher actually let me sleep the whole period cause I brought my book to class once... Lol. Gotta love the "No child left behind" act. It took all advantages away from the kids who school work came easy and gave it to the students that it didnt. I'm not bashing the kids that it's more difficult for, just standing up for the ones that get it easy.
exactly. I was always ahead of everyone in my classes, finished my daily assignment and even had time to do my homework in class as well. :/

I hate when school.
Relatable quote of the day   ^^^^

I also hate when people go through every phase of their turn. Like when they say
"Untap. Upkeep. Draw. 1st Main phase - play a land. Enter Combat. Enter Declare Attackers step. Declare no attackers. Enter declare blockers phase.....etc."

If you don't declare steps at a tournament someone can get you disqualified

Also I've played people who don't and then as they lay down land and play a 2nd spell, ask if they are unsure if they drew, played a land etc (very important when playing a mazes end deck) and we had played before with him doing the same thing, told him to announce steps. I talked to a few people at the shop also and he's played like that before.

So I think it's very necessary to announce each phase.

Sissy.  Take ap calc as a junior.  That's what the big boys do.  ;)

I remember that class. I tested into a junior calc class as a fresh in college. Not too bad....

You can't in my school. Its stupid.

If you take 'Advanced Math' you take: 8th grade-Integrated Algebra, 9th-Integrated Geometry, 10th-Algebra 2/Trigonometry, 11th-Precalc, 12th-Calc, Calc 2
If you take normal math classes you take: 9th-Integrated Algebra, 10th-Integrated Geometry, 11th-Algebra 2/Trigonometry for half the year and Precalc the other half, 12th-Calc, Calc 2

So either way, you end up in the same classes. The only difference is by taking Advanced Math I get a free block open in my 11th year which allowed me to take Psychology and Sociology this year.

AP European History is a great course in my school, I have never ever enjoyed a history or social studies class before this one. AP course Sophmore year! That's what the big boys do! Graduate with honors? How about graduate with distinction!

I know how you feel bro.  I had to drop out of school not only because of this, but because like 80% of my teachers were making homework 60% of the final grade.  Being as smart as I was I never did homework for the simple case of, "if I know how to do something, and I get 90 or higher on a test, why must I do homework and waste the entirety of my after school/weekend to PROVE that I know it, when I consistently prove it on tests?"  Ended up failing all of my classes sophomore year, talking to my favorite teachers/counsolers and parents and realizing that is would be better in my position to drop out, get my GED, and start college.  Sooooo...
TL;DR - Teachers are retarded...

Nothing against all teachers, my Spanish teacher was an still is my favorite teacher ever.  But when you have to dumb down an advanced class and then make homework a must do to pass just so most of the class won't fail, it's ignorant.  I'm at a loss for words of how stupid the grading scale was.

I am currently in private college prep school taking AP classes... I honestly don't know how I survived those years of public education but they sucked.

I hate the asinine belief that pit bulls are a "dangerous breed."  The media talks about them all the time, but never when a German shepherd attacks someone. Any dog has the potential to bite someone ad they all have a form of aggression, but pit bulls seem to be the focal point of the media.

If you are equating "dangerous" = bite frequency then Pomeranians are f***ing ferocious!!!

Hahaha! Touchè good sir!

I think its hilarious when people are scared of dogs. 99% of the time all you have to do is stick your hand out with your palm open and the dog will come up to you, sniff your hand and will be fine.
