That is interesting, although I have used it once or twice, I confess to not having an in depth knowledge of the apps deck tester.

IRL I have never had problems with mana.

DylanW18 - hope this helps get you started... The novel at the beginning talks about what kinds of cards you will probably want to play for great synergy with Riku :)

What do you say about Elite Arcanist? Easy to remove yeah, but exile a Time Warp on him and you have infinite turns. Eventually you get the land drops every turn to copy it then drop threats as well

Time warp is not an instant.

You should add one of each colored artifact land, they can help to mana fix ie Tezzeret the Seeker.

Woah! Just reread and it's only instants! Thanks for the heads up! +1!

It might still be worth running though... At least for a budget approach.

I'm running all 3 Ceta gods in my brew. Opinions?

I feel that Beguiler of Wills is a very underrated card in a Riku copy-stuff deck. Multiple copies of Beguiler just allows to to take every creature on the board. Might be worth considering.

I have play tested all the artifact lands for this deck and found them somewhat subpar... In their place went in basic lands that more cards interact with.  (RAMP!)

The artifact lands second type (artifact) let's them be targeted by tez...which can be a very good thing... And also everything that also hits artifacts... Which can be a very bad thing...

So instead of a possible upside and possible downside, I chose to go with something that I feel only has an upside... The basic lands.

Just my thoughts. :)

This could be a ton of fun, especially with the multiple potential untap steps that multiple  Seedborn Muse and  Prophet of Kruphix can give...

My foil beguiler is in my bird wiz Bant edh right now ;) but I might just have to play test it :)

How much would this deck cost in average if I bought it?

Well, the app puts the average price (without foils) (based on medium value) at around $1500.

The foils can really add up though, and the deck as it is right now is probably closer to $2700 ...eventually the entire deck will be foil... Except original duals.

So now I am curious, why ask about the price?

Ok, looking for some help, what replaces sylvan primordial here? I don't like  Terastodon so any recommendations?

Hmm... Well, if you're looking for a way to replace the destruction effect, sadly I think Terastadon is your only choice, aside from Acidic Slime which you already have, or a non-creature like Slice in Twain or something.

If you're looking to replace the ramp aspect, you could go with something like Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger though he's legendary so copying with Riku is useless and he doesn't actually get lands... If you need the actual land cards there's Solemn Simulacrum, and green has a lot of dorks like Borderland Ranger.

Yeah, nothing is going to have the impact of the primordial, but that's kinda why they banned him.

Okay, I have been looking at a couple of different things to replace sylvan primordial, which replaced primeval Titan...and I think that I am going to show my playgroup and the RC why I should have just been allowed to play with the primordial...

Introducing:     Tidespout Tyrant !  With riku's ability to copy the tyrant, I see no reason not to run another way to generate infinite mana, infinite storm count, infinite bounce of opponents permanents...
As early as turn 3 I could generate infinite mana with him and as early as turn 4-5! Infinite bounce... Even has me thinking about adding in a "storm" card as a potential finisher... Or I could just use the ones I already have...
Or not and just deprive everyone at the table of all permanents... And all fun...
Yeah much better than the primordial... But hey I have at least found my replacement!
