Has anyone else had the laughs of casting dreadbore and targeting your oppenent then all sharing a laugh as you slap the pamphlet from the starter decks on the table.

Vyse

If I'm reading this right youre trying to say you targeted a player with {dreadbore}? Unfortunately you can't just kill a player, especially with just 2 mana. In fact dreadbore states planeswalker, not player, and in the game that's what your title is, not planeswalker ;)

MarduArrow

Yes but the pamphlet you get with every event deck/ duel deck/ etc. clearly states "you are a planeswalker"

Haha nice.

Try it at an open :P

I would laugh my A** off
And if the judge ruled "well, since you're destroyed, you're disqualified for the remainder of the open?"

chargingrhinosmtg asked: Why not have the text of Dreadbore say "Target non player planeswalker"? I just think you left some wiggle room in here....

Even though the player is thematically a planewalker, the game has always referred to them as "player". The second we say "non player planeswalker"one place it now means that we always have to say it otherwise people then start to assume that it does mean a player when we don't say that.

Shadridium
