Karma for Patrons

I know quite a few moron teenagers whose parents will buy them anything.

I am a teenager. I realize there are responsible, working, straight-A teenagers (I am one) but there are also spoiled, irresponsible and moronic teenagers (like someone I know...). And there are more of the later than of the former.

So the patron would be able to see just their karma, not everyone else's? 

If so, I think I like that idea. They're paying, after all.

I don't like how you split teenagers into two group there are more then that!

I think as a patron you should be able to see who have you karma, but as stated you should behave as a moderator would and not get into a karma war with someone.  I'm not sure how easy it is for a mod to see karma changes (like a list of all people on the site), but if you see someone start taking serious neg hits you could find the perpetrator and issue punishment as deemed fit.  Just my opinion. :p

First what's the difference between a mod and a patron? I know that a mod is basically an extra set of eyes for Piotr and that they have a large say about what goes on here as the enforcers of the law. But aren't patrons just like that just agreed to obey the law in real life?

Patrons are users who pay a one dollar monthly fee for certain perks.

I think that patrons should be able to see karma changes of 5 or more but being able to punish them could be a different story . I guess that it would depend on the punishment also and the other perks they get.

I believe it should stay as is, it would just get complicated and start arguments IMO. I think I could handle it but I would prefer to not know who negged me just because who really want to know that stuff? Just causes problems. 

I think if you want to make something to pay for make something like the Facebook 'like' system for posts / comments.. Then have the karma system for the trade section and let us see +\- for not only us, but other people as well. But have something set up so you may only give a single +/- per actual trade completed

I think that it's fine as it is.  If you think someone is disliking your posts constantly, you can PM a mod or ask about it in the karma log.

Honestly I have never been upset about negative karma.. but sometimes I really would like to know who gave me positive karma... everyone here is talking about negative karma complains but those people complain does not matter if they know the source or not...

I would gladly have the option to see more... I would even pay more on my monthly fee...
