One of the major news networks I believe it was CBS but I could be wrong changed one of the 911 calls. after hearing this trevon did hop the fence in to a gated nieborhood as a short cut to his uncles house trevon was stoped by Zimmerman just to ask why he was there I do not think trevon attacked without being provoked I think he must have seen the gun and it was a fight or flight situation so I think Zimmerman should be tried for unlawful discharge of a fire arm and manslaughter

From what I gather, he was tried for that, wasn't he? :P

I believe it was second degree murder

Data you provided contradict this theory.

I think he means that he was tried for second-degree murder, not that he committed second-degree murder.

Doesn't matter if you see a gun.  Do you think that people should attack others because they have a concealed firearm on their belt.  They most likely have a concealed weapons permit if they have that strapped to their thigh.  Just because you see it doesn't give you a lawful ground to assault another person.

I thought i was done but i guess not.

If he saw it, the gun wasnt concealed.
There was no assault, look at the timeline. Wounds that appear a week after the fight obviously didnt come from that fight.

If someone stabs you with a knife, does the hole show up a week later? Hell no it doesnt, and the same applies here with the so called "fight".

It was second degree. Erupted from a fight, not planned, and yes, Flicker, MURDER. Or at least manslaughter.

I will not post on the subject other then to share this link. I don't know the ins and outs of the whole situation and will not pretend to. But, as a rational human being I agree with a lot of what this guy says.

I don't see where the justice is when a young man is dead. Zimmerman could have shot him in the foot or somewhere not lethal. Not to mention the fact that Zimmerman left his car in pursuit of the kid against police suggestions.

Bad all around. A media fueled circus that has done nothing positive, and most likely will negatively affect lives for some time to come.

Bottom line, FL has a very liberal self defense law that can protect an aggressor and gives either party the right to stand their ground. Ridiculous. Here in OH, he would likely be found guilty of at least manslaughter.

There was a fight!  Treyvon assaulted Zimmerman after his gf??? (Unspecified relation) was texted I got a "creepy a s s cracka" following me.  She texted him that Zimmerman might be a gay rapist and that he had better run.  Eyewitness report said that trey on got off his phone and beat Zimmerman until he was shot and killed.

This raises an impass.  If this is a case that you stand by someone, you are with their race/ alignment.  Ok, Treyvon assaulted him because he could have been a gay rapist.  And people are bitching and moaning that Zimmerman shot Treyvon simply because he was black.  Democrats have to decide will they support gays, or blacks.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Here's my question why do any of you care. In what way is your day to day life being affected by this(unless you live in Florida or other places with stand your ground laws) but seriously the only reason it is an issue is cause the media can make it one and make money of it. No one is gonna care in a month from now unless the news I having a slow news day and desicdes let bring up something to spark more controversy on a dead issue. You're aloud to have opinions an all but can we focus on the real issues and not ones that pit people on sides of for the lack of a better word a stupid pointless argument about a law that's been question since its inactment.

My day to day life is affected when the media gets involved with a case, and makes it so I have to hear about every minute of the day.  So I'm sharing the love.
