my last girlfriend cheated on me, I think its because I didn't want to go all the way with her and only stopped at second base. That was because I had a bad experience my first time and didnt want to go too far too fast, and compromised with her

Are you guys friends at all? I applaud you for doing this. Most people go through life without the courage to try something bc it may end in rejection. I've always found this baffling. You live one life time and deserve to be happy. What's the worse that could happen? She says no? Though it may be upsetting at first, imagine years of wondering what if.
